Four teams remain undefeated across Soleil, but the challengers are making plenty of noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Soleil Standings Watch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eric Strevel\u2019s <strong>Buzzing Jackets remain atop the combined standings at 3-0<\/strong>, with <strong>399.08 season points<\/strong>. Three other undefeated teams round out the leading group:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Jim\u2019s Fantasy Force \u2014 Jim Kappes, AFC:<\/strong> Second overall with <strong>352.54 points<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Pigskins \u2014 Diane, AFC:<\/strong> Third overall with <strong>345.72 points<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Serenity Now \u2014 Howard \/ David, NFC:<\/strong> Fourth overall with <strong>343.54 points<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jim took over first place in the AFC, while Eric held the NFC lead. Kurt\u2019s Super Bowl or Bust and Deb\u2019s Gray-t Gridiron suffered their first losses, trimming Soleil\u2019s undefeated club to four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right behind them, <strong>nine teams sit at 2-1<\/strong>. Joe\u2019s NO Kneelers lead that group with <strong>398.82 season points<\/strong>, just <strong>0.26 behind Eric\u2019s overall scoring total<\/strong>. That\u2019s practically a rounding error with bragging rights attached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Soleil High Score: NO Kneelers Run Wild<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joe\u2019s <strong>NO Kneelers scored 164.48 points<\/strong>, topping both leagues and beating Steve\u2019s Let\u2019s Go!!, 97.08. The <strong>67.40-point margin<\/strong> was also Soleil\u2019s largest victory this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joe jumped from seventh to third in the AFC. With a team name like NO Kneelers, apparently letting up wasn\u2019t an option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NFC High Score: Jim Meeder Keeps Rolling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jim Meeder\u2019s <strong>2-Min Drill scored 131.84 points<\/strong>, leading the NFC and defeating John Fowler\u2019s FowlBall, 103.16. His second straight win moved him into third place in the NFC at <strong>2-1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between Joe\u2019s scoring explosion and Jim\u2019s momentum, the undefeated teams have good reason to check their rearview mirrors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Serenity Now Wins the Undefeated Showdown<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Howard \/ David\u2019s <strong>Serenity Now defeated Super Bowl or Bust Kurt 124.96\u201384.22<\/strong>, staying perfect while handing Kurt his first loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>40.74-point margin<\/strong> was the NFC\u2019s largest of the week. Kurt\u2019s Super Bowl plans remain intact, but this particular week leaned toward \u201cBust.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Closest Finish: Denise Gets the Last Dance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tightest matchup across both leagues belonged to <strong>Touchdown Dance Denise<\/strong>, who edged Angie\u2019s Tipsy Tacklers <strong>113.64\u2013107.62<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just <strong>6.02 points<\/strong> separated them, leaving both at <strong>2-1<\/strong>. Denise moved into fourth in the AFC, one spot ahead of Angie. Friendly neighbors in the standings, perhaps\u2014but somebody still gets to bring up the score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NFC\u2019s closest finish went to David McCleskey\u2019s <strong>Senior Football<\/strong>, which defeated Michael Parker\u2019s Barking Dawgs <strong>101.44\u201391.06<\/strong>, a <strong>10.38-point margin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First Wins Deserve Some Noise<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rick\u2019s Motor City Cats<\/strong> beat Out of My Way Dave <strong>112.30\u2013101.74<\/strong> for their first AFC victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Any Given Pam<\/strong> defeated Sunday Funday Glen <strong>115.08\u2013103.34<\/strong> for her first NFC win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both improved to <strong>1-2<\/strong>. Getting that first win takes a little pressure off\u2014and makes checking the standings considerably more enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>AFC vs. NFC: A Split Decision<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>AFC claimed the highest individual team score<\/strong>, thanks to Joe\u2019s 164.48. The <strong>NFC claimed the higher league average<\/strong>, scoring <strong>105.16 points per team<\/strong> compared with the AFC\u2019s <strong>101.62<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each league has two undefeated teams. The AFC gets the fireworks award; the NFC gets the higher average. Neither side is likely to concede anything in Chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Player Spotlight<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jahmyr Gibbs delivered 37.9 fantasy points<\/strong>, topping the player highlights in both leagues. That\u2019s the sort of performance that makes a manager feel like a draft-day genius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the other end, Nico Collins\u2019s <strong>0 points<\/strong> in the AFC highlights and Jadarian Price\u2019s <strong>0.7<\/strong> in the NFC offered a less pleasant reminder: a promising lineup still has to produce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Around the League Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carol\u2019s <strong>Ground &amp; Pound jumped from eighth to fifth in the NFC<\/strong> with a 116.88\u201394.00 win over Dan\u2019s Waddle we talking about here. In the AFC, <strong>Overtime RICHARD earned his second straight victory<\/strong>, beating Brooke View Trailblazers 85.96\u201373.76.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those still chasing their first victory, there\u2019s plenty of season left.
