Week 4 AFC Recap

Week 4 brought another big scoring performance from Denise, a convincing win for Rick, and a nail-biter that kept Diane on top of the standings. From touchdown dances to a finish decided by less than two points, the AFC delivered plenty to talk about.

Denise Leads the Scoring Parade

Touchdown Dance Denise (Denise) earned Week 4’s scoring honors with 137.72 points, the highest total in the AFC.

With a team name like that, a performance this good practically requires a celebration. Denise gave the rest of the league another reminder of how much scoring power her lineup can deliver.

Motor City Cats Cruise to the Biggest Win

Motor City Cats (Rick) defeated NO Kneelers (Joe), 126.00–92.72, earning the AFC’s largest margin of victory at 33.28 points.

Rick had the Motor City offense running smoothly this week. Joe’s team put up a respectable total, but the Cats had too much horsepower.

Closest Finish: The Pigskins Squeak Past the Trailblazers

The Pigskins (Diane) edged Brooke View Trailblazers (Sheila/Mitch), 92.32–90.62, in the closest AFC matchup of Week 4.

The 1.70-point margin left almost no room for error. Diane escaped with the win, while Sheila and Mitch were one small scoring play away from turning the result around. That’s a tough finish—but a strong challenge to the league leader.

Player Spotlight: Tetairoa McMillan

Tetairoa McMillan was the AFC’s best-performing player of the week with 38.2 fantasy points. That kind of production can carry a lineup and make a manager’s entire weekend.

At the other end, DeVonta Smith recorded 0 points, showing how quickly an expected contributor can leave a lineup looking for help elsewhere.

Standings Watch: The Pigskins Stay on Top

The Pigskins (Diane) held first place after Week 4. Her 92.32 points were just enough to secure the week’s closest victory—a reminder that winning doesn’t always require the biggest score.

Brooke View Trailblazers (Sheila/Mitch) sit in last place, but their 90.62-point performance brought them within 1.70 points of beating the first-place team. The standings may show a gap, but this matchup showed how close the competition can be.

Brown Paper Baggers finished with the week’s lowest total at 78.02 points. Week 5 brings a fresh chance to bounce back.

Looking Ahead

Denise takes the scoring crown, Rick claims the biggest win, and Diane keeps the top spot after a narrow escape. The Trailblazers came close to shaking things up, and the rest of the AFC gets another opportunity next week.

Check those lineups, watch the bye weeks, and keep those touchdown dances ready!
